<독산십이경>은 <금천 06 프로젝트>와 함께한 작업으로 금천 06번 마을버스 노선을 중심으로 주위반경 2km 내외에 산재하고 있는 12곳의 명승지를 기록한 사진작품이다. 명승지라는 기존 개념을 차용하여 서울 독산동의 과거와 현재를 담고 있는 장소들에 허구적인 이야기를 덧붙이고 또 다른 풍경을 만들고자 하였다. 이 풍경들은 사적이고 개별적인 순간들이기에 곧 사라져버릴 수 있는 장소들이지만 누군가에게는 잊지 못할 기억의 흔적이다. <독산십이경> 안내서를 제작하고 금천 06번 마을버스를 통해 사람들에게 배포하여 우리가 속한 시간과 장소에 대한 의미를 다시 발견하고자 한다.
<12 Famous Places in Doksan> is a series of photoworks related to <Geumcheon 06 Project>. These photos have 12 famous places located within two-kilometre radius areas of Geumcheon 06 shuttle bus route. In fact, they are ordinary places in Doksan, but I wanted to make them become famous. So, I took pictures of them and added fictional accounts to them in order for you to rethink mundane scenery.
When I finished works, I printed the brochure about 12 Famous Places in Doksan and distributed them to Geumcheon 06 shuttle bus passengers. I hope that they find out the meanings about their time and space again.
